Maintenance
Each SKM bag is treated with fabric protector before delivery. We strongly recommend periodic treatment with a protective spray to keep your bag looking clean and new. We suggest using Scotch-Gard. Reshape as necessary by using a steam iron; cover your hand with a small towel and place inside bag, then iron the outside. Reshape while fabric and interfacing are still warm. Let it cool and it should hold its shape.
Spot Cleaning
Blot stains using a clean cloth or paper towel, do not rub. Soak up excess liquid from spills or cleaning to help limit spots left after it dries. Be sure to always use cold water because hot water can encourage fading and shrinking. It is best to test a small area of the fabric in an inconspicuous place to insure a good outcome. There are many stain removers and spot treatment products on the market today; please follow the directions of the product you choose. After cleaning allow piece to air dry.
Overall Cleaning
Machine washing is not recommended. Many dry cleaners will be able to handle overall cleaning. Please look for a specialist that can handle the plastic that makes up the stiff base included in many of our bag styles.
SKM is not responsible for damage to merchandise due to overuse, machine washing or dry cleaning. Please contact us if there is a manufacturing defect.

We consider our website our catalog! We have brand new ready-made bag combinations and fabric choices available often. We love showcasing so many creative combinations – and our customer’s love the fact that they get a truly unique product. Our original niche concept makes a traditional printed catalog hard to do – it would be outdated before it made it off the press! We also want to be eco-friendly and try to conserve our use of paper.

Pricing
General
We price all of our bags by style, fabric combination and options. An in-stock bag will cost the same as a custom-ordered bag of the same style. Prices range $20-$145 for our handbags and totes, and $10-$12 for our Sassy Paks (makeup bags) and Klassy Kloths (decorated burp cloths). Prices are subject to change without notice. Due to the large size of some prints, the swatch may not represent the fabric as a whole on your finished product.
Tier Pricing
We have divided our fabric into tiers which reflect fabric costs; tier 1 is the least expensive. The highest tier chosen determines the price of the bag. The style, quality and contents remain the same for each tier.
Discounts
Any discount, whether it is part of a special promotion or purchased with a gift certificate, will be taken off when your order is processed. This is reflected on the receipt you will receive.
Sales tax/Shipping
We collect applicable taxes for sales in Kansas, which are added when your order is processed and will be documented on the receipt you receive with your order. All items and gift certificates are shipped via USPS unless otherwise specified. The customer pays any additional fees if USPS is not used.

Return Policy
We accept unused, ready-made in-stock merchandise for exchange or credit refund within 14 days of purchase date when accompanied by original receipt. Shipping is non-refundable. Return instructions will be included with shipment of an online purchase. Custom orders placed at any time are considered final sales and MAY NOT be returned. If you have further questions about returning a ready-made item purchased online please contact us. Please note that gift certificates are non-refundable.

Respecting your privacy, we neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties. When you purchase a product from us, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, and e-mail address. This information is necessary so we can process and ship your order. We do encourage you to sign-up for our mailing list. These emails provide you with advanced notice of sales, new merchandise, and other events. You have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.
